Greg speaking to the Dogwood Garden Club about Great Plant Picks

On an extremely warm September 8th, we invited Greg Graves come talk to us about Great Plant Picks.

About Greg
In addition to being one of the owners of the Old Goat Farm nursery, Greg was the head gardener at The E.C. Miller Botanical Garden in Seattle, WA for 13 years, and retired in the spring of 2011. Greg has also been an enthusiastic member of the Northwest Horticultural Society of which he is past president of the board and chairman of the education committee.

He is on the perennial committee of Great Plant Picks and president of The Pacific Horticulture Society. His current passion is building the new garden at Old Goat Farm.

Checking out Great Plants
Greg brought a wide selection of plants and talked about their attributes and why they were selected for Great Plant Picks. The plants were also for sale, so we left educated and with fabulous plants to add to our yards.
